Tasks

The Statistical Office in Szczecin constitutes a unit of official statistics services supervised by the President of the Central Statistical Office and functions on the basis of:

• the Act of 29 June 1995 on Official Statistics  (Journal of Laws of 2012, item 591 as amended),
• the Regulation No 13 of the President of the Central Statistical Office of 24 August 2012 on conferring a statue upon the Statistical Office in Szczecin (Official Journal of the Central Statistical Office, item 41),
• the Act of 21 November 2008 on Civil Service (Journal of Laws No 227, item 1505 as amended),

Territorial range

Since 1 January 1999 the territorial range of the Statistical Office in Szczecin has been covering Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship.

Tasks are conducted on the premises of the Office in Szczecin as well as in two branches: in Koszalin and Stargard.

○  o the latest publications of the Central Statistical Office and Statistical Office,
○  publications in the Office's library,
○  publications for sale,

• accepting orders for:

○  unpublished statistical data from dataset of the Statistical Office,
○  preparing publications with the use of information published by the Central Statistical Office and Statistical Offices.

Official cases concerning the National Official Business Register REGON are handled on the premises of the Office in Szczecin (room 708) and in branches in Koszalin and Stargard.    more >>

Providing services to the disabled

Buildings of the Office and branches are adapted to provide services to persons on wheelchairs. Since April 2012 there has been a possibility to use an assistance of a sign language interpreter.    more >>
