The Statistical Office in Szczecin presents the tenth edition of the Statistical Yearbook of Szczecin prepared in Polish and English language versions. It presents a broad set of information describing the standard of living of the society and changes in the economy of city undergoing in the recent years.
The statistical material presented in this year’s edition concerns the years 2011-2013, however, the majority of tables also cover the years 2005 and 2010. The layout and thematic scope are similar to the ones in already published the Statistical Yearbook of Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship 2014, which enables making analyses and comparing information regarding the city and voivodship.
Comparing to the previous edition, the Yearbook has been supplemented with additional information on demography, healthcare, culture and education. Moreover, sections concerning sport and regional accounts have broadened the publication.
A vast set of data presented in 20 thematic sections describes social and economic phenomena and processes t aking place in Szczecin. Every section is preceded with n otes in which used terms, methodology and scope of presented data are explained. The statistical material is illustrated on charts.
